Birmingham stockbroker Arden Partners has posted a 41 per cent rise in sales after an encouraging first half of the year.
The Edgbaston-based firm saw revenues rise from £4.6 million in the first half of last year to £6.5 million in the six months to April 30.
However, the rise was not enough to push the company back into the black, as it still made a pre-tax loss of £200,000, down from £300,000 at the same time last year.
Chief executive Jonathan Keeling said: “It has been an encouraging first half with revenue increasing some 41 per cent.
“We have invested significantly in headcount as well as relocating our London office to premises in order to accommodate future growth.”
