A new British bank has appointed a regional business manager for the Midlands.
Sarah Woolf has joined Shawbrook Bank to manage it’s SME investment in the region and is tasked with growing the bank’s customers through its broker and introducers’ network.
Shawbrook, which launched in 2011, offers lending and savings products to individuals, SMEs and charities and is an amalgamation of three financial businesses – Whiteaway Laidlaw Bank, Link Loans and the lending platform of Commercial First.
Ms Woolf was a member of the Commercial First sales team, but left in 2008 to have a family.
Returning to the fold, she will work closely with Paula Purdy, regional development manager north.
Ms Woolf said: “I am thrilled to be joining the Shawbrook team and look forward to working with our broker partners to win new business and to support their existing client base.
“It is great to be working for a bank with a strong appetite to lend to the SME market and a continued commitment to brokers.”
Shawbrook acquired Singers Asset Finance in March 2012 to extend its lending offer to SMEs.
