The Birmingham branch of Sweden’s Handelsbanken has taken on a clutch of recruits with four newcomers joining the city centre operation.
The four are Ross MacKay, who joins as a corporate manager and Amanda Parrish, both with 10 years corporate experience, individual banking manager Lisa Winters and Terry Brown, who has 30 years in the individual sector.
Branch manager Pat Hanlon said: “I am delighted to welcome Ross, Amanda, Lisa and Terry.
“Ross is one of the highest profile bankers in the city with a strong background in both property and corporate lending.
“Amanda has extensive experience in looking after corporate clients.
“Terry and Lisa join our individual banking business which looks after an ever increasing number of personal customers, providing current accounts, mortgages and loans alongside a first class, old-fashioned banking service.”
Meanwhile Clydesdale Bank has strengthened its Worcester team with the appointment of two new partners.
Sharon Chance has been promoted to junior business banking partner while Vicky Blagriff has also made the step up to business banking partner – a role which will see her be responsible for supporting business development across Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
Deloitte has also been hiring – it has strengthened its corporate finance advisory team in Birmingham with the appointment of Steve White as senior director.
