The Birmingham office of Catalyst Corporate Finance has boosted its research team with two new recruits.

Emma Dowson will be responsible for published output as research publications manager and Rose Hartley joins as M&A analyst.

Ms Dowson, who has a Masters in Investment Analysis and a BA in International Relations from Keele University, joins from Wesleyan Assurance Society where she was e-strategy manager.

Prior to that she spent ten years at Martin Currie Investment Management in Edinburgh in marketing and research roles where she was responsible for the production of all their research led marketing.

Ms Hartley, a graduate of Sheffield University where she got a first in physics and astrophysics, has worked for Mitchell & Butler in Birmingham as a food analyst.
