Barclays Wealth has appointed a new regional centre head for its Birmingham office.
Ben Gulliford takes up the role following the departure of Graham Nicoll, who announced his resignation in June after being promoted to a global role by Barclays Wealth.
Mr Gulliford has been promoted after more than three years working as a private banker in Barclays Wealth’s Birmingham office.
He will be responsible for growing the firm across the Midlands, ensuring a first-class service for both current and new clients.
Mr Gulliford will take charge of the Birmingham office which includes private bankers, investment managers and support staff who are responding to an increased demand for an integrated, bespoke, wealth management service.
He said: “Since joining Barclays Wealth, the office has experienced a period of huge success, continuing to grow both in terms of client acquisition and new hires.
“I look forward to continuing this and ensuring that Barclays Wealth maintains and enhances its position as the Wealth Manager of choice in the Midlands.”
Mr Gulliford lives in Worcester and is married with three children.
