More than 100 professionals from Birmingham’s business community attended the launch of Handelsbanken’s branch at 35 Newhall Street.
The new branch is Handelsbanken’s second in the city centre, in addition to its existing location in Temple Row, reflecting the growing demand for the bank’s relationship banking services in Birmingham.
All customer-related decisions in Handelsbanken are taken by branches, and each customer has a direct line access to a dedicated relationship manager who understands and is empowered to make decisions locally.
The 35 Newhall Street branch will be managed by David Hastings, who joined Handelsbanken last July bringing over 25 years of banking experience to the role. Tom Queenan will take up the reigns as corporate banking manager, while Joanne Farrah joins as individual banking manager.
