A Worcester accountancy firm has appointed a new partner and three new staff following a merger with south west accountants Bishop Fleming six months ago.

Bishop Fleming Rabjohns sees Andy Wood, who joined Rabjohns in 1996, become a partner and the business take on Sean Mooney as a semi senior, Amy Broomfield as an Association of Accounting Technicians trainee and Phil Redgate as an Institute of Chartered Accountants trainee.

Ian Smith, partner in charge of Bishop Fleming Rabjohns in Worcester, said: “This merger has opened a wealth of growth opportunities for our firm.

“We had enjoyed many years of working with Bishop Fleming within the Kreston International network, so this merger was an obvious move.

“The result is already delivering growth, as we are able to tap into Bishop Fleming’s national skills and specialists.”
