A four star Cotswolds bed and breakfast has been bought by new owners thanks to a six-figure funding package agreed in the West Midlands.

New hosts Kate Ellis and Robin Hunt are looking to expand Windrush House in the village of Broadway and potentially add more staff to help with growing demand.

Ms Ellis, who has returned to hospitality after working as an administrator at an auctioneers for five years, said: “The Cotswolds are the country’s largest designated area of outstanding natural beauty and the location of Broadway makes it perfect to see all that the area has to offer.”

Phil Larner, relationship manager at Lloyds TSB Commercial, said: “The previous owners recommended the bank to Kate and Robin, and we are pleased that we have been able to provide funding support for the purchase of the bed and breakfast.”
