LEGION Trade Finance, a UK provider of structured finance solutions, has opened a new office in Birmingham.

The company, which already has offices in Henley-on-Thames and London, has now opened its third office in Birmingham’s Brindleyplace.

LTF is an independent financier of UK companies which need facilities to purchase goods from their suppliers globally, offering structured finance solutions including loans, paying suppliers direct and letters of credit.

The typical facility is between £100,000 and £2 million over the trade cycle and last year LTF facilitated trades worth more than £40 million.

It recently announced new investor funding as part of its continued drive to boost support to SMEs. 

Demetrios Hadjigeorgiou, director of operations said: “Having a presence in Birmingham makes commercial sense and supports the firm’s strategy to have a UK-wide presence from which to deliver its funding solutions.

“Our expansion in the Midlands clearly shows our commitment to growth.”
