Investec has expanded its offering in Birmingham to include private bank services for professionals, entrepreneurs and high net worth clients.

Mike Kelly, recently appointed as business development manager for Investec Bank, will be charged with taking the initiative forward.

Birmingham born and bred, Mr Kelly joined Investec Bank following eight years with Yorkshire Bank and before that 28 years with West Bromwich Building Society.

He said: “We are committed to being an out of the ordinary private bank, guaranteeing unparalleled levels of service and personal attention.

“In addition to our investment management services we are now able to offer specialist lending , including mortgages, for entrepreneurs, professionals and high net worth clients as well as deposit solutions and a wide range of currency services.”

Mr Kelly will work closely with the Birmingham-based corporate treasury team Liz Law and Charlotte Begley, who provide foreign exchange, commodity and cash solutions to mid corporate businesses in the region.
