A commercial insurance broker has marked its most successful year by expanding its team to support future growth.

Inspire Insurance, based in Coventry, has made two appointments having achieved an annual turnover approaching £2 million in only its third year.

Teri Crosby brings over four years of insurance experience to her role as commercial account executive whilst trainee account handler Evonne Hosey joins as an industry newcomer.

Ms Hosey is the second apprentice to be taken on by Inspire Insurance as part of its commitment to provide opportunities to enter and progress within the industry.

Managing director Leigh Mackey said: “We realise that potentially there is a lack of talent within the insurance industry and we are not frightened to invest in training to give people the opportunity to make it their profession.

“Our first apprentice was appointed in September 2011 and has already made a significant impact and with support has generated and implemented a business idea which now accounts for a considerable proportion of the company’s revenue.

“We are looking forward to Evonne and Teri contributing to the success of the company which has achieved 100 per cent growth year-on-year based on our innovative and professional approach.”

“Having established the company on my own and from a standing start, I am delighted to have been able to expand my workforce to 11 and am looking forward to creating more opportunities as the business grows.”
