One of India’s biggest banks will its new branch in Birmingham today on Soho Road.
The event - attended by council leader Mike Whitby, C Gururaj Rao, Consul General of India, and Shantose Kaur, President of Institute of Asian Business - marks the re-location of ICICI Bank’s Birmingham branch to the heartland of the local Indian community in Handsworth.
The decision to re-locate made by ICICI Bank in recognition of the large number of Indian account holders it serves through the branch.
