A legal firm based in Birmingham has expanded and relocated to new premises after securing a £145,000 funding package from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.
H&S Legal had been based at its rented premises on Spencer Street in the Jewellery Quarter since it was established in 2005.
Following a number of new client wins the business wanted to purchase its own premises to provide more space.
It approached long-term banking provider, Lloyds Bank, which provided the loan to fund the purchase of a 700 sq ft premises in St Paul’s Square.
Following the purchase, H&S Legal has carried out a full renovation on the inside of the property and fitted two private interview rooms.

Adrian Shaw, practice manager at H&S Legal, said: “Relocating the firm to a larger, owned premises was vital to allow us to work towards our plans to further expand our client base and workforce.
“We were previously located in a serviced office building and didn’t have a shop front, so the move to the St Paul’s Square building will also help to raise awareness of our firm among prospective clients and passers-by.
“Lloyds Bank was fundamental in enabling us to take this important step and understood our plans from the outset and we are grateful for the team’s support.”
Jason Nash, relationship manager professional practices at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking in Birmingham, said: “H&S Legal is recognised for providing a professional service for its extensive client base and has built up a fantastic reputation in Birmingham over the last ten years.
“The relocation marks a pivotal moment for the business and means that it can now work towards its growth ambitions and create new jobs, which is positive news for the local economy.”
