BRI Wealth Management has appointed David Craig as a chartered wealth manager to head-up its new intermediary division.
Mr Craig began his career in 1988 with Albert E Sharp before playing a key role building the Birmingham branch of Greig Middleton.
He subsequently moved to Tilney, taking over as office head and helping double assets under management to more than £750 million.
Appointed by Deutsche Bank in 2006 Mr Craig headed-up its Birmingham investment branch until he and his team joined Brown Shipley to establish its Birmingham office in 2008.
A Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) Mr Craig continues to develop and maintain relationships with IFAs and private clients.
Paul Cusack, joint CEO of BRI, said: “We are delighted to have attracted someone of David’s pedigree.
“Many of us at BRI have worked with David either at Albert E Sharp, Greig Middleton, or Gerrard, and we all share the same passion for building a very personal, client focused business.
“David’s knowledge and success with intermediaries is well known locally and he will help spearhead our move into this market.”
