New audit director at Dains
Dains, the Midlands-based firm of chartered accountants, has expanded its audit team by recruiting Mark Hargate to the position of audit director.
The appointment is the latest in a series of recent leadership additions designed to support the continued expansion of Dains.
With more than 18 years experience working at the Birmingham office of Grant Thornton, Mr Hargate joins Dains as auditdirector at a time when the firm is experiencing strong growth in the audit side of the business.
As group audit manager at Grant Thornton, he has significant experience in both SME and AIM listed company audit and transaction work for a varied portfolio of clients ranging from £500,000 to £100 million turnover, across a wide range of industry sectors.
