Central Finance’s Birmingham office has recruited two new banking professionals.

Jackie Field joins the independent finance company from Lloyds Banking Group after 15 years working with SMEs as commercial bank manager, while Mark Durrant is a former HSBC commercial banking and loan manager.

Between them the duo have more than 60 years’ collective experience in alternative business finance.

Alison Bradley, Central Finance’s managing director, said: “Over the last twelve months we have seen significant growth in the commercial finance market.

“It’s an increasingly complex sector as new funders are established literally every week.

“At Central Finance It’s our job to keep up to date with what is new and relevant to assist our customers.

“We have supported hundreds of businesses access finance and with the appointments of Mark and Jackie, I am confident we can help even more businesses achieve growth through finance in the Midlands and further afield.”

Mr Durrant said: “I have known director Chris Brown and Central Finance for many years and have always admired their honest, friendly and unbiased approach to finance.
