Catalyst Corporate Finance will host a major international conference next month focused on the engineering and industrial sector.
Titled Growing an International Engineering Business, the conference, on October 15, will feature a strong line up of industry leaders drawn from across the sector.
These include Allan Cook, chairman of Atkins Global and former chief executive at aerospace giant Cobham and John Hudson, chairman of Bromford Industries and Birmingham Airport, both of whom will focus on the aerospace and automotive industries.
There will then be a session focused on the North American market, with speakers from Catalyst partner firm Headwaters MB, followed by Steven Sellhausen, vice-president, corporate development of Dover Corporation who will fly in from New York for the day to update delegates on the plans of this major industrial corporate.
Delegates will then be presented with the key findings on M&A trends in the global engineering sector, the latest research from Catalyst and its Mergers Alliance partners.
Andy Currie, managing partner at Catalyst and conference chair, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for those involved with UK based engineering businesses to gain a greater understanding of the international marketplace and the opportunities available to them.
“The conference also provides a unique opportunity to network with leading executives from industry and the private equity world and is one not to be missed by anyone seeking to grow a business in the engineering sector.”
