Sue Lewis, chairman of Birmingham Forward, said “Rob is close to the Bank’s decisions and will be able to provide an incisive view of how the Bank predicts the economy will perform in the short to mid term. This will be a very interesting and thought-provoking speech.”
Mr Elder grew up in Sutton Coldfield and attended the Josiah Mason Sixth Form College.
