Catalyst Corporate Finance was named European Regional Corporate Finance Adviser of the Year at the Private Equity Awards dinner held at the London Hilton on April 16.

Having already been named UK regional adviser of the year, Catalyst was up against the top advisers across Europe for this prestigious award. The award is based on research conducted by the Cass Business School along with 300 European Private Equity firms and the views of a judging panel of 15 senior people from across the industry.

Andy Currie, managing partner at Catalyst, said: “Winning this award is a huge vote of confidence in our business from those working within the private equity industry.

“It recognises the work we have done over the last 12 months and the quality of deals we have advised on which include the sale of Celerant Consulting to Hitachi, the buy-out of NES Global talent, backed by AEA Investors, and the sale etc Venues.

“We continue to invest in our business with the recent recruitment of two new partners, which has broadened the range of advice we can offer our clients and we expect 2013 to be another strong year for Catalyst.”
