The Birmingham office of Ernst & Young hosted a range of fundraising activities in and around its office for Sport Relief, including Wii office Olympics challenge and an employee dress down day in sports clothes.

Over the past 11 years, the firm has raised more than £500,000 for Sport Relief and its sister charity Comic Relief. Through its role as honorary accountants, the professional services firm also processes postal donations amounting to around £2.5million each year.

Ronnie Bowker, Ernst & Young’s senior partner in Birmingham, said: “In addition to fundraising, Ernst & Young’s role as honorary accountant helps to ensure that Sport Relief is able to fulfil its Golden Pound Promise: that every pound raised goes to support a good cause.”
