A fashion designer with an eye for the alternative is preparing for a busy summer following the launch of its online boutique.
Shropshire-based Missy Chango’s, an online retail outlet dedicated to alternative clothing with a particular focus on burlesque and 50s pin-up fashion, was launched last week by entrepreneur Em Eato, to an enthusiastic reception from shoppers all over the country and abroad.
Products on sale range from pencil skirts to corsets, bikinis to shoes, and from hats to lingerie. In some instances, Missy Chango’s is the sole UK stockist for some very in-demand international brands.
"Our aim is to retain a very exclusive feel," said Ms Eato. "And therefore we stock a range of sought-after brands.
Ms Eato said: "We’re extending Missy Chango’s beyond the online shop to bring you Missy of the Month. It’s a monthly photoshoot in collaboration with Monkeybrand Photography, with a different burlesque/50s pin-up style model every time."
