Fashionistas from near and far recently flocked to Harvey Nichols for one of Birmingham’s hottest style events of the year, the annual Cure Leukaemia Fashion Extravaganza.

Hosted by BBC Radio WM Breakfast Show presenter Phil Upton and featuring ITV Central’s Lucy Kite, 230 guests descended on Harvey Nichols for the exclusive event, which raised more than £5,500 for the West Midlands-based blood cancer charity.

Jackie Kelly, general manager at Cure Leukaemia, said: “All monies raised from this event will help us to save the lives of more leukaemia sufferers by funding research nurses to administer drugs to patients not normally available on the NHS.

“We thank everyone at Harvey Nichols for their part in hosting such a great event and to our sponsors and supporters for their generous donations on the evening.”
