A Birmingham-based translation firm has doubled the number of countries it exports its services to.

The Translation People, which helps Midlands businesses trade overseas, now has customers in 24 different nations worldwide, including the United States, the United Arab Emirates and 15 eurozone countries.

Jasmin Schneider, manager of the Translation People’s office in Trinity Park, Solihull, said the success is the result of a targeted campaign to grow overseas business.

The translation team deal with overseas clients in a wide range of sectors, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, automotive and food.

The company has also established in-country versions of its website in key European locations, to further raise its profile.

Ms Schneider said: “We are delighted to report such significant growth in our overseas business, which is a testament to our consistently high standard of service to a very diverse client base.

“Our clients recognize the economies of scale and the improved quality that can be achieved from using a trusted supplier across their international operations.”

Steve Wilde, managing director of The Translation People, said: “We are delighted to see continuing growth in our overseas customer base - supporting our ambition to become a leading global translation services brand.”
