A master longbow maker will sit beside graphic designers and marketeers at a Midland business event.

The Stour Valley Business Fair, organised by networking group Stour United Businesses, takes place on March 30.

The event attracted almost 200 visitors last year, and offers the opportunity for businesses to network and share industry advice, as well as promoting their goods and services to local residents.

Chris Watts, a partner at Needham & James Solicitors, which is sponsoring the fair for the second year alongside Sheldon Bosley estate agents, said the event had been a great success last year.

He added: “The initiative exceeded all expectations as business people came together to celebrate what the Stour Valley has to offer. There was a real buzz at the event and as an established local firm we feel it’s a great opportunity for us to catch up with our clients and fellow business people in the town.”

The free event, which is open to all local businesses and members of the public, will run from 4pm to 8pm at the Townsend Hall, Sheep Street.
