Customers and staff at Webbs Garden Centre are holding a Donate, Don’t Dump Day for Primrose Hospice.
The Wychbold garden centre has taken inspiration from the popular BBC 2 television show Mary Queen of Charity Shops programme. A similar event for St Richard’s Hospice last year was a great success.
The event takes place on March 25 between 10am and 6pm, with customers urged to bring at least one good quality item which is no longer wanted or needed.
Executive chairman Ed Webb said: “The aim of ‘Donate, Don’t Dump Day’ is to improve the quality and quantity of donations to charity shops and for giving in this way to become a regular event. This will help charities such as Primrose to raise the much needed funds to carry out their invaluable work in the community.”
