Four new companies have been spun out of one of the area's most successful property groups, it emerged yesterday.

Evans Hardy Bromwich, based in Leamington Spa and Coventry, was a multi-disciplined property agency formed by a major merger in 2005.

The directors of the company have decided to launch four new businesses concentrating on different sectors of the market.

Three of the new entities will be housed at Somerset House - the current headquarters - with the fourth operating from the Cobalt Centre near Coventry Airport.

Edward Bromwich will continue to run the residential business including sales, rentals and management as EHB Residential, while Simon Hain will head up EHB Commercial in Leamington handling general commercial lettings, sales and management.

Scott Blake and Nick Evans will run Evans Blake, dealing in valuation, professional and landlord and tenant instructions as well as private client property investment work. Again, the company will be based in Somerset House.

Bromwich Hardy - led by Thomas Bromwich and Richard Hardy - will be based at the Cobalt Centre on Middlemarch Business Park. This new company will take over existing Coventry agency work and will continue to deal with development, corporate and investment advice along with one-off client instructions.

Iain Critchlow and Andrew Forsyth will be joining the company and moving from the Leamington Spa office.

Mr Hain said: "We were keen to continue growing the company in its various sectors but all felt this would be better achieved by them operating independently.

"New and existing clients will continue to receive the same level of professionalism and customer service which has helped the company be so successful.

"We have ensured that the transition will be very smooth for our clients and staff and are looking forward to a successful future."
