Renewable energy specialist Eco2Solar is backing a Kidderminster school pupil in her quest to travel to Thailand and Cambodia to help local people living in deprived villages.

The Kidderminster firm is one of a handful of local businesses who have helped Abbie Underhill, a pupil from King Charles I School (Kidderminster) raise £1,100 towards her £3,500 fundraising target, after sponsoring the teenager to complete a gruelling 100 mile walk up Snowdon this month.

Eco2Solar pledged to support the 14 year old in her first of many activities to help fund the four-week trip.
