A new Saturday service from Birmingham to the Isle of Man is being launched by Eastern Airways to meet increased demand.

The airline is introducing the new service on October 8 to give passengers a new travel option to the Isle of Man on a Saturday. It will also bring an extra 232 seats a month onto the route.

Flights take just 60 minutes and services will depart from Birmingham at 9.10am arriving in the Isle of Man at 10.10am. Return services take off at 7.40am and land back at Birmingham at 8.40am.

Andy Mathieson, Eastern Airways' general manager Isle of Man, said: " We ' ve responded to feedback from customers and will provide them with a new fast, convenient direct link to the Isle of Man on Saturdays."

As part of the airline's inflight service, passengers as always will be offered champagne, a seasonal liqueur, snacks and a refreshing hot towel.

Eastern Airways also flies from Birmingham to Inverness and Newcastle.
