Shopping centre The Pallasades is launching its ‘cracking’ Easter Egg Appeal to help make less advantaged children’s Easter one to remember.

In partnership with BBC WM and Smooth Radio, the centre is urging people to donate one or more chocolate eggs to deserving youngsters.

Jonathan Cheetham, general manager for The Pallasades, said: “We have been running our Easter Egg Appeal for six years now and we’re looking to make this the most successful to date, which is why we need your assistance in giving deserving youngsters their best easter yet.”

People are being asked to donate chocolate eggs to either the customer services desk or to the Easter Egg Pod situated by the big clock at The Pallasades.

Shoppers have until Monday, March 29, to bring in their treats, which will then be distributed in time for Easter Sunday to local children in care and youngsters at Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital.
