Solicitors at DLA Piper have raised £2,300 to help Birmingham Children’s Hospital with the purchase of a new machine for new born babies.

The cheque was presented by Rebecca Mulvany, trainee in DLA Piper’s finance department, who organised a series of office-wide events from a sponsored 8.5 mile fun run to chocolate sales in order to achieve the grand total.

Shahaji Begum from Birmingham Children’s Hospital said: “We are very grateful to DLA Piper for their very kind donation that will be used to purchase a bubble CPAP machine, which is used by doctors to promote breathing in newborns.”
