A Birmingham City Council-run group is offering a £500 prize for enterprising Brummies to develop a business idea.
The Enterprize Generator, organised by the Enterprising Communities group, is being offered to people looking to start their own business.
It will also offer free training in how to develop an idea and begin to put together a business plan. It will also offer advice on how to sell yourself and your business.
Enterprize Generator is open to people who live within the “Enterprising Communities” area of Birmingham, taking in Washwood Heath, Bordesley Green, Hodge Hill, Nechells, Sparkbrook, Springfield, North Moseley, and South Yardley.
The main thrust of the council-run programme is to reduce the economic differential between the Enterprising Communities area and the rest of the city
