Wolverhampton engineering company Deritend has acquired Leicestershirebased East Midlands Industrial Rewinds in a deal advised by accountants BDO Stoy Hayward.

The Deritend Group, with its head office in Upper Villiers Street, provides a wide range of maintenance management services to a variety of industrial clients.

Operating out of ten regional locations, the business has a turnover in excess of £15 million and employs more than 200 people.

The acquisition of EMIR, a motor repair business based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch gives Deritend the opportunity to develop its business in the East Midlands.
