Four employees from Deloitte Birmingham have begun training for the third annual Deloitte Ride Across Britain.
Chris Robertson, Peter Ridley, Richard Storor and Ashley Hollinshead will set off on the nine-day, 960 mile bike ride between Land’s End and John O’Groats in September.
The ride is on target to raise £1million for the British Paralympic Association (BPA) by 2013, with money going towards sending the best prepared team possible to the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
The scheme was launched nationwide by Paralympic javelin thrower and London 2012 medal hopeful, Nathan Stephens.
Chris Loughran, senior practice partner of Deloitte Birmingham said: “Deloitte has been a supporter of the BPA for many years now, and our target of raising £1 million is well within sight.”
