House builder David Wilson Mercia has donated £8,000 to learning disability charity Mencap following a day of hitting holes in ones at Robin Hood Golf Club in Solihull.

Andy Peters, managing director for David Wilson Mercia, said: “We are delighted to be able to make a contribution to the excellent work Mencap do. As well as being able to donate money our staff enjoyed a great day out of the office playing golf at Robin Hood Golf Club.

“It was great to see everybody trying their hardest at the game and I’d like to congratulate the whole company on this excellent result.

“We’re wholeheartedly committed to supporting causes like Mencap and we are looking forward to running more activities in the future to support local and nationwide charities.”
