Hundreds of youngsters are set to gather in Birmingham for an event aimed at boosting their digital skills.

Concrete Collective is a two-day event to be staged at Thinktank Science Museum at Millennium Point on November 1 and 2.

It will see experts from the BBC, Sky and digital businesses sharing their expertise with young people aged 16 to 19 through free workshops.

The initiative is the brainchild of the charity UpRising, one of the top youth leadership development organisations in the country.

UpRising CEO Andrea Cooper, said: “We are passionate in the belief that young people are the future.

“At our event we will welcome some of the city’s most ambitious and talented young people and make a positive difference in communities around Birmingham.” For more information visit  www.concretecollective.eventbrite.co.uk
