Hartlebury-based Whitefoot-Forward PR is celebrating two new client wins and a new addition to the team.

Building on its experience within the garden industry, the agency has been selected as the PR team to Droitwich-based Solus, a supplier of garden, home and leisure products.

And in partnership with an Italian PR agency, Whitefoot-Forward PR has also started working for grains and pulses company Pedon to help launch a healthy new food range into the UK.

Based in Northern Italy, Pedon employs 750 people worldwide in seven factories, with a focus on five business areas including dried pulses and grains, dessert ingredients and dried mushrooms.

The new business wins follow the recent announcement that Whitefoot-Forward PR is managing the media relations campaign for county law firm Harrison Clark.

With all the new client wins, the agency has had to expand its team to help manage its growing portfolio.

PR account manager Clare Farquhar joins the agency with ten years experience across many industries, having worked both in-house and in agencies for consumer and business-to-business brands.

Michelle Whitefoot, managing director of Whitefoot-Forward PR, said: “I am absolutely delighted to officially welcome Clare as our newest member.”

Solus managing director Nick Davies said: “We are delighted to have appointed Whitefoot-Forward PR to help us to achieve a range of communications objectives over the next year.”

He said product ranges under the Solus banner were well-known with the garden trade industry, including tool brand, Yeoman, as well as Botanico Nortene, Chapelwood and Adorn.

“Whitefoot-Forward PR will build on that awareness and refresh the thinking around our brands and that of Solus as a corporate brand.

“They will also be working hard to build awareness on the scope and range of our products, which include anything from bamboo chopping boards and ‘Let’s Grow’ vegetable and salad planters to water features and pest control, within the consumer media,” continued Mr Davies.

“We have already been impressed with the professional and strategic approach taken by Whitefoot-Forward PR and we are looking forward to some great results over the next 12 months,” he said.

Other clients of Whitefoot-Forward PR - which celebrates its 10th anniversary next year - include Hartlebury-based Forest, a timber manufacturer, Coventry-based DENSO, a car parts producer and Glee, a garden industry trade exhibition which takes place at the NEC.
