A major events and conference venue in Warwickshire has appointed two new executives to its marketing team.
Jennie Gentles and Charlotte Bird have been taken on as marketing executives at Stoneleigh Park to promote the venue and work across a range of events.
With more than 15 years’ experience, Ms Gentles will be responsible for marketing the conferences, music and art festivals, weddings and private functions.
She joins from The Drum arts centre, where she worked as communications manager and was responsible for overseeing the Birmingham venue’s communications strategy.
Ms Bird has worked in the marketing and events sector for more than six years.
She previously worked as an events manager at the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in Solihull where she was responsible for generating revenue through fundraising events.
Ms Bird will be responsible for exhibitions, outdoor and sporting events, social media channels and festive parties.
Ian Pegler, chief executive officer of Stoneleigh Park, said: “Jennie and Charlotte both have a wealth of experience and with a packed events schedule planned for 2012, it’s a really exciting time to be joining such a dynamic team.”
Stoneleigh Park spans 800 acres of countryside and caters for up to 40,000 visitors per day.
The venue also boasts two 4 x 4 tracks, a quad biking safari track and more than 21,000 square foot of indoor venue space.
