105.7 Smooth Radio has signed Midland radio personality Tammy Gooding to present its Smooth Drive Home show every weekday.
Tammy, who left her job as mid-morning host at BRMB on Boxing Day, will start presenting the 4-8pm show today.
Tammy, who was born in Birmingham, won BRMB’s Search for a Star competition in 1995 and remained at the station until her move to Smooth.
Smooth Radio station director Jane Davies said: “Tammy is a very talented all-round presenter and we are delighted that she has decided to join the team.”
Tammy said: “The team at Smooth Radio are like a big family and I’m very much looking forward to being part of that.”
Former drive-time presenter Nigel Williams has moved to Smooth Radio’s sister station in London.
