Two Midland PR agencies are celebrating new outdoor sports-themed contract wins.
Seal Communications, which has offices in Birmingham and Shrewsbury, has been appointed by equestrian goods retailer Derby House to develop a bold and stylish new design approach for the firm.
The agency will be responsible for building Derby House’s online presence as well as its telesales operation. Seal Communications creative director Phil Birchall said: “It is important we build on the heritage of Derby House as a well-established, recognised name in the equestrian field.
“However, we will inject extra quality and style into the brand communications through eye-catching, seductive imagery, helping to demonstrate the passion and knowledge Derby House offers to the equine world.”
Meanwhile, Sutton Coldfield-based Haslimann Taylor has been appointed by Serelo, a wholesale distributor and importer of giftware, outdoor toys, and home fitness equipment, in a campaign to support the launch of Freeline Skates.
The agency will support the company’s launch of the skates, which combine elements of skateboarding, surfing and snowboarding, to a consumer audience, using an intensive online and specialist press strategy.
The agency has already helped build awareness of the product at two of the UK’s biggest gatherings for outdoor sports enthusiasts – NASS 08 in June and August’s Rip Curl Boardmasters 2008.
