Photography training and development agency Rhubarb Rhubarb is gearing up to host its tenth annual International Photographic Review.

The event, which brings photographers from all over the world together with top gallerists, publishers and agents, takes place in Birmingham from 30th July to 2nd August. It aims to give new photography talent the chance to get their work in front of people who have the ability to help them further their career in terms of being published, exhibited or getting representation.

Rhubarb Rhubarb creative director Rhonda Wilson said: “The Rhubarb International Review brings together photographers with those in the industry who can help give them a future.

“The event is now known throughout the world and it’s really put Birmingham and the West Midlands on the map in terms of photography.”

Ms Wilson said Rhubarb Rhubarb had set a precedent this year in bringing the acclaimed Obama’s People by Nadav Kander to Birmingham.

The agency staged an event inspired by the exhibition as part of the Cultural Olympiad weekend where visitors could be photographed as one of Obama’s administration team.
