The director of a Birmingham record company was pipped to an award at the MOBOs in London last week.
Punch Director Ammo Talwar - who was listed at no. 26 in the Birmingham Post Power 50, 2008 - was up for a BeMOBO award which recognises the achievements of people working in the community making a difference to the lives of others.
The award went to Ricky McCalla who mentors young people in south London.
