A Worcestershire firm of financial advisers is continuing to expand and has taken on two new members.
Jane Heyman and Kirsty Lewis both joined the Worcester branch of McCarthy Taylor, which also has an office in Evesham.
Ms Heyman previously worked at Clarke Roxburgh and also for a firm of consulting actuaries.
“I heard about the job at McCarthy Taylor from a specialist recruitment agency and I was immediately interested,” she said.
“This is a good opportunity to come and work for a really professional and independent practice.”
Ms Heyman is the only female adviser currently working for the company.
“Whilst many clients are men there are also a number of women needing financial advice and should they prefer to deal with a woman they now have that option,” she said.
Ms Lewis, who has a degree from Birmingham City University, has taken on the role of client services administrator under the firm’s graduate trainee programme.
McCarthy Taylor managing director Paul Taylor said: “Kirsty and Jane have settled in really well and they are already valued members of the team.
“We are thrilled to have a female adviser on board as we can now offer clients even more choice – I also believe the female input she brings to the advice we offer will give the firm as a whole a more complete approach.
“Finding good quality experienced female advisers is not easy in an industry predominantly male.”
