Birmingham-based digital agency Made Media has won a competitive pitch to redesign Warwick Arts Centre’s website.

Warwick Arts Centre in Coventry is one of the UK’s liveliest arts venues outside London. Made will be rebuilding the website from scratch, capitalising on its experience in digital events marketing.

Arts centre marketing director Katie Anderson said: “We were impressed with Made’s innovative approach to digital events marketing, tracking and personalisation.

“They are arts specialists with a commercial focus, and we were reassured by their track record with online ticketing systems.”

Made Media managing director Jake Grimley said: “We worked hard to win this project.

“Warwick Arts Centre presents a real challenge due to the breadth and diversity of its events programme.

“In that respect we liken their product offering to an online music store like iTunes or a streaming video service like iPlayer. We’ll be applying those modern, mass-market concepts to the website and backing them up with our arts understanding.”

Features slated for the website include personalisation, film trailers, improved ticketing facilities and digital signage.

Made Media is an independent digital agency, founded in 2003 and based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. Recent clients include Birmingham Repertory Theatre, SnowDome, THSH and Marketing Birmingham.

Warwick Arts Centre is the largest in the Midlands, attracting about 280,000 visitors a year to more than 2,000 individual events embracing music, drama, dance, comedy, literature, films and visual art.
