A host of Midland PR professionals won praise at a recent industry event held in London.
The 2012 Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) Awards, hosted by TV favourite James Nesbitt, saw Bromsgrove based Gough Bailey Wright, Birmingham's Spottydog Communications, Midlands Co-op, and Marketing Birmingham all shortlisted at the awards ceremony at London's Hilton Park Lane Hotel.
Victorious on the night was Rachel Roberts from Spottydog Communications who was recognised as Freelance PR Consultant of the Year.
Ms Roberts said: "As an independent consultant it's incredible to secure national recognition for spottydog communications and I'm really proud to be in the same company as Derbyshire County Council, John Lewis and Boris Johnson who all also were PRCA Award winners. Traditionally the PRCA Awards are dominated by London-based organisations and consultancies so it's a real achievement for all those from the Midlands to make the final-cut."
