Kerrang Radio’s late-night presenter Johnny Doom was named Brummie of the Year in an online poll.
The 38-year-old garnered 31 per cent of the votes on the Birmingham: It’s Not Shit website.
Paul Murphy of Midland gypsy punk band The Destroyers came second with comedienne and Phoenix Nights actress Barbara Nice third.
