Staffordshire-based internet services provider Internet Central has strengthened it's technical and sales teams with five key appointments.

Derek Wintin and Larry Austin have been taken on to help with the growing demand for Internet Central's wide range of services and products and will be helping to increase sales of the company's IC Talk range of VoIP products in 2008.

Simon Sharman and Nick Peirson are developers. They have been employed specifically to develop IC-Talk and are currently working on a new version release which the company claims will see further advanced features being added to the VoIP platform.

Blas Yaselli has also been recruited as a network engineer. His specific task is to develop Internet Central's internal software and hardware platforms to further improve its service levels and quick response times for customers.

Larry Austin said: "Internet Central is a fast growing company with innovative technology and has enjoyed significant success to date with their IC Talk range of VoIP products as well as their state of the art security products and services. "We are now building on that success and increasing our commitment to the UK by expanding our reseller network and channel partners. I look forward to helping the company grow and being even more successful in the VoIP and internet security markets."

Derek Wintin added: "I was attracted to Internet Central by its reputation for technical innovation and excellent customer service, I believe that companies will increasingly choose Internet Central's VoIP and Internet solutions and I've joined Internet Central to play a part in this success."

Internet Central's sales and marketing director, Ian Rowley, said: "I'm delighted to welcome Derek, Larry, Simon, Nick and Blas.

"They are great recruits for us, bringing invaluable experience of our markets.

"Last year was an extremely successful year for Internet Central, with continued expansion 2008 promises even more success and I am certain that the new members to the team will play a major role in this and will ensure we achieve success."
