Marketing and communications agency Gough Bailey Wright has been appointed by North Yorkshire Moors Railway to carry out its PR activities aimed at increasing brand awareness for the 2016 season.
The Bromsgrove-based agency will provide the heritage railway with targeted campaigns across regional and national media, highlighting the various events the railway welcomes to its tracks this year.
The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is one of the world's most popular heritage railways, running between Pickering and Whitby.
It attracts nearly 350,000 visitors each year, making it one of the world's most popular steam railways.
Other events this year include spring and autumn steam galas, 60s and 70s-themed weekends and classic car shows.
Sue Bailey, managing director at Gough Bailey Wright, said: "It's brilliant to see yet another high-class attraction on our books.
"The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is a truly spectacular attraction in the most beautiful setting, and I couldn't be more proud to announce them as our new client."
