Marketing communications agency Gough Allen Stanley has rebranded to reflect the name of its owners.

The agency will now be known as Gough Bailey Wright, a combination of its former title and the names of current owners Sue Bailey and Michelle Wright.

The two took over the agency following a management buyout in 2005 and are currently celebrating their fifth anniversary.

The company, which was first established in 1936 as Tom C. Gough and Partners, is the longest running independently-owned marketing agency in the West Midlands and boasts a wide range of well-known and respected brands.

The rebrand has been timed to coincide with the anniversary following a sustained period of growth.

A recent recruitment drive has seen Gough Bailey Wright expand across all three floors of its offices in Bromsgrove.

The latest addition has been the appointment of a creative director, a new position at the agency following a number of business wins for its creative services department.

The business wins include the launch of Truma’s new range of products, being unveiled at this year’s Boat and Leisure Show, which the agency won following a three-way pitch.

Managing director Sue Bailey said: “The rebrand marks a new phase for the company, which will see us fully equipped to remain at the cutting edge of marketing communications, while maintaining the long-standing traditions and passion, the ethos, rightly associated with the Gough brand.”

Joint owner and creative services director Michelle Wright added: “The new name and logo is a combination of our heritage and our future aspirations.

“By adding our surnames to the existing Gough brand we are expressing our intentions for the agency, while the new colourways reflect the vibrant attitude that we have towards our creative work.”
