A giant paintbrush has been added to Birmingham’s skyline as part of a festival to celebrate the best of street art in Birmingham.

It forms part of the 2014 City Of Colours Festival taking place in the city on September 6.

The paintbrush was created by artist Filthy Luker and occupies a prominent spot next to the iconic Selfridges building.

The festival will take place from 11am to 8pm at the Custard Factory, in Digbeth, with free entry on September 6. It will see parts of the city turned into a giant gallery, complete with live music, illustration battles and cinema screenings.

However, promo events have already been taking place, with the likes of GENT 48, Miss Wah, Newso, Setdebelleza, Mr. Savage and the The Hores featuring at a Bullring promo.
