Warwick-based Freestyle Interactive has completed a major redesign and development project on behalf of a Paris-based aerospace giant.
Thales, which specialises in mission-critical information systems for aerospace and space, defence and security markets, chose Freestyle to relaunch its website www.thalesgroup.com following a five-way competitive pitch.
The firm was chosen for its international experience and ability to respond to complex challenges.
Freestyle managing director Suzanne Linton said: “The Thales win is great news for the agency.
“We have a growing number of European-based clients, all of whom are making long-term investments in their websites and looking at how online communication, design and web technologies can improve business performance and cost effectiveness”.
The contract involved the entire redesign and redevelopment of the Thales internet structure from the roots up.
Freestyle account director Alex Clifford said: “Working with Thales on this project has been very exciting and we will continue to work in partnership with their external communication and multi-media teams at Thales’s HQ in Neuilly-sur-Seine, near Paris, to implement Phase Two.”
The new Thales website is a phased project which represents a significant investment in online communications for this French company which had a turnover of 12.7 billion euros in 2008 and employs 68,000 people across the world.
The new site will deliver up-to-date corporate and financial, product and service information to global stakeholders and investors.
Thales is one of three major European-based clients secured by Freestyle Interactive in the last three years – Thales, Alstom and Volvo.
